Local people behind every shift
Local connections. Better dental days.
Meet local colleagues, share first-day tips, and prepare for your next shift. Private groups connect you with peers in your own role, from North County across San Diego.

The pilot is free. Pilot participation, professional credentials, and office W-2 readiness need approval before booking. Offices employ and pay temps through their payroll provider. Posting a shift does not guarantee it will be filled.

Checking actual provider schedules…
Browse as a hygienist, dentist, or assistant. Confirm course eligibility with the provider and your board.
Dates and times are shown in Pacific Time. Provider checks refresh about hourly; started sessions leave this feed automatically. When a provider does not publish a posting date, we show when the listing was added to HSSD. Save a course to your CE calendar, then register with the provider separately. Attendance and credit eligibility are confirmed with the provider. See courses on the CE calendar →
A few things to know
Clear from the start.
Know how bookings, pay, and approvals work before your first temp shift.
What can I do today?
Create your profile, then apply to the free pilot. Approved professionals can choose available days, request shifts, confirm final offers, and submit hours. Approved offices can post after payroll readiness is reviewed. Shift updates appear in your inbox; supported devices can enable browser push. No payment card is needed.
How do license checks work?
Profiles start as pending review. Submitted dates and missing documents are checked automatically; authorized reviewers confirm board status, CPR, and training independently. Automatic state-board verification is not connected. Required credentials and office supervision must fit the actual work before a shift can be booked.
Will hygienists be paid as employees?
Yes: this network requires employee payroll, not 1099 payments. The office is the employer and handles wages, required insurance, taxes, and onboarding through its payroll provider. Payroll readiness is reviewed, and the office confirms each person’s onboarding before offering a shift. HSSD records hours and agreements; it does not run payroll.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The pilot workspace works in a mobile browser and can be added to your home screen. Your account’s days and bookings stay saved across devices. On iPhone, add it to your home screen before enabling device alerts. Native iOS and Android store releases are still in preparation.
